Cut Off Switch
One thing that Dodge forgot
to put in the 2000 Dakota was a switch to shut off the A/C Compressor.
By putting in a SPST Rocker switch (Radio Shack part # 275-0730)
The compressor is shut off along with the radiator fan.
This simple wiring
is done just by splicing the switch into the #2 wire (light Green,
White) on the A/C Heater Control and running it down to the switch.
Its the black switch mounted to the left of the Electronic Digital
Transmission Temperature Gauge. Be careful when putting back
on the A/C-Heater control, make sure the temp-control cable is
installed right.
